Music Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Anime Music for sending a copy for a review for this site. This is one of many Anime CDs that are domestic release. Sakura Wars is one of the most popular Anime in Japan, as well in North America. You see the series & it also turn into games for many consoles. Now, there is a movie! You get every song that appears in this movie, including the theater release of the intro (Track 01), which is the extended version & one of my favorite track. Track 27 is another vocal, this is use during the play that Sakura & her friends do during the movie! The rest are all background music, from preparing for battle (Track 08) to my favorite battle music (Track 24). It make you feel you want to kick butt. Some music are soft & relaxing, others are punch licking battle music, all reflecting the course of the movie!

Audio 2.0:
I find no problem listening to the music. The tracks are well separated.

Packaging:
Since this Anime CD is a domestic release, it got almost the same as the original Japanese packaging, except with a few English adaptation changes. On the cover, you get to see Sakura & Lachette laying on the checkered purple floored with a photo album. In the back, just the list of tracks in a cardboard, inserted into the same background as the cover. The insert itself also carries the same background, it got notes from the writer, the music director & the director himself about making this movie. It also have the lyrics, translated in English & have the original Japanese text as well. There is the credit listing, as well some screenshots from the movie. The CD disc itself is plain, again, the title listing in a purple background. Since the CD case is a clear one, you get to see the same checkered purple background that is feature throughout the design.

Overall CD Rating:
This is a great add-on to your collection for all Sakura Wars fans. Not only that, you will support Geneon Anime Music on releasing more Anime CDs in the near future.

Music Presentation: Listen to the music that reflect the course of the movie!
Audio 2.0: No problem detected!
Packaging: The checkered background is use way too much!
Overall CD Rating: If you're a Sakura Wars fan, get the CD!
