Introduction:
Spring Break... Love Hina style!

Naru, Keitaro, & Mutsumi have taken the entrance exam for Tokyo U yet again. However, before the results are announced, Keitaro disappears. Where did he go?

Secretly concerned, Naru acts like she doesn't care, but the pressure's too much. After getting a call from Seta saying that Keitaro's on the same tropical island he's on. Naru sets off to "rescue" him.

Keitaro, meanwhile, has met a girl named Nyamo, who is following her own dream. Keitaro decided that he can help her & forget about Tokyo U & Naru at the same time.

It's paradise. That is, until Naru arrives, following by everyone else! Strategically placed leaves! A secret civilization! Mecha Tama Mark 3! This Love Hina adventure is the biggest yes!

Contains Episodes:
  • Feature Movie: Love Hina Spring Movie

Feature Presentation:
The second movie finally came out, taking place after the Christmas Movie & it will be the last of the Love Hina series. Naru, Keitaro, & Mutsumi are finally taking the Tokyo U exam once again, after a full year of studying. Like always, Keitaro went into dream world & mess up his chance again, or did he? He managed somehow to get to an island with Seta, met a strange girl named Nyamo & he decided to help her keep her promise. Of course, Naru goes after him. Naru's really hot in that leaf swimsuit. I like this movie as much as the Christmas movie. Motoko is finally wearing normal girl clothes, Shinobu is cute as always, Haruka get to be naughty, more turtles & a special guest appears. You will get a good laugh & the romance between Keitaro & Naru finally get a little closer! The ending credit is really sweet!

Video:
Since it's totally CGI, the image is very very clear. I find no problem at all. It's sharp & the colors are so bright. Bandai Entertainment have really done a good job releasing it! Again, skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc by hitting "menu" on your remote. All the episodes are divided in 16 parts.

Dubbing: English:
There is one thing different, Bandai Entertainment dubbed the "friendship" song, sung by the English cast! It might not be the same as the original Japanese, but it really match! Karaoke! It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 2.0:
No problem found.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
I don't know why, it's louder then the English track.

Subtitle:
There are 2 tracks for subtitling, one is only for the subtitle of items that is shown in Japanese symbol, the other one is the actually subtitle for the Japanese audio track, as well as the items. The English subtitle is translated good. They still kept the same color subtitling as the series. Green for the introduction & ending, yellow for the dialogue.

Menu Option:
The menu is really cute, it's like your watching a screenshot from a projector, which Sara, Su & Tama playing around with it. The music is new, like a topical vacation. There are 4 options, "Play The Movie", "Scene Select", "Setup" & "Extras". Simple & easy to move around.

DVD Extras:
I have heard that fans requests the extras. It's nothing more then the textless opening & ending of the TV series, textless Episode 24 ending theme & textless ending of the Spring movie, which isn't releases on the other DVDs of Love Hina.

Packaging:
Just like the other Love Hina releases, I love the package, it's so colorful! On the cover, you get to see all the girls of the Hinata Apartment, with Naru & Nyamo in leaf swimsuit! In the back, there are some screenshot, with a light background of Naru & Keitaro, almost kissing? Since it's a clear DVD case, you get to see the back of the cover, which is an ad for Pararakelse Island, which a sexy picture of Naru & the island itself. The insert is the same picture as the cover, with a mini-poster with Naru & Nyamo. The DVD disc cover is the same as the DVD cover itself.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The movie is place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small, you can zip through all the episodes in one shot. Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
This release is just in time for your Spring break. I wish there is more!
