Back when Sugar was still an apprentice Snow Fairy...

Saga has been chosen to star in the school play as a Princess! Sugar, Pepper & Salt become so excited over the news that they couldn't wait to go see the rehearsals. Unfortunately, Saga discovers she has stage fright & becomes nervous in the role - will she be able to perform before an audience? Meanwhile, inspired by Saga, the fairies decide to perform a play of their own!

Contains Episodes:
  • Episode 25: What's In Your Heart (Part 01)
  • Episode 26: What's In Your Heart (Part 02)

Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Entertainment for sending a copy for a review for this site. You thought this series was all over. Well, guess again! This story happen right after when Sugar finally pass & return to the Fairy World. The introduction theme remains the same, but you will get a different ending theme. It was surprise that, at the beginning, Saga isn't the Saga we fellow throughout the series. She has grown up! It's 4 years have pass since Sugar. She reflected back on the play she & her class made! For some reason, she just got picked to be the star of the school play as the Princess! As she try to pratice, Suagr, Pepper & Salt got so excited there is another play, they want to watch it right away. However, they ended up making a play themselves, too. It's hilarious. Oh, even Vincent is back to see how Saga is doing, along with the cute Kanon. The same wonderful music & all the same sweet loving characters are all here for one final show.

Video:
Geneon Entertainment did a very great job. I found no problem, the image are clear & the color looks perfect. To top things off, the series is feature on Widescreen format. If you got a Widescreen TV, you're going to enjoy this even more. Each episodes are separated into 5 parts. The first episode: the introduction, part A, part B, ending & the preview for the next episode. The second one: the prologue, the introduction, part A, part B & ending. Each episodes are place in one single track, so there is no loading time when you move on to the next episode. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.

Dubbing: English:
The cast returns for the special episodes of this series. Geneon Entertainment have able to capture the emotions that the original Japanese version & the cast they selected really suit the characters. The older version of Saga & even Greta sounds even more mature, but using the same voice actresses. It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Subtitle:
As before, Geneon Entertainment have selected a great font, very easy to read, but the white subtitling isn't very well suited. Yellow would work better. However, I don't know why, there is only one subtitling track for the Japanese dialogue. You won't get any subtitle for the introduction or ending theme, except if you turn the subtitling on for the Japanese dialogue. I might note that the first episode, the intro & ending subtitles are in English, while the second episode is in Japanese.

Menu Option:
The menu is also in widescreen format, but if got just a regular full screen TV, it will display in that format with no problem. The style of the menu is the same with Sugar & Saga as you see them on the cover on this DVD. They even blink! The background music is a very nice piano tune. There is the "Play All", "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". You get a cute like flower explosion when you select an option. Note that there is no background music in the other menu section. The icons used for the selected options is the a little waffle, which is really cute.

DVD Extras:
Well, you will get the non-credit ending, along with the original Japanese credit ending as well. There is also an art gallery, all of them are art design of the characters from the special episodes.

Packaging:
Geneon Entertainment kept the same style. On the cover, you get to see Sugar & Saga wearing her Princess dress. Yup, the snowflakes are back again! In the back, a little different More snow flakes, with many screenshots. You can also noticed the new logo "Geneon" along side with the old "Pioneer" name. The insert have the same picture as the cover & a chapter listing. Inside, it got a illustration gallery, with original artworks from the peoples who made this series, along with a thank you note, too. On the DVD disc itself, it's no longer a big waffle, but the same picture as the cover. The DVD case itself have change, no more the white one, but a clear one, where you get to see a very nice, what it seems, a poster about the play that Saga & her class are doing.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The episodes are place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the first episode to the last episode with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
This is a nice addition to see how Saga is doing after Sugar & the other fairies went back to the Fairy World. it's like a reflection of her happy times. It's odd to see her all grown up. It's really sweet & a happy ending.
