Music Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Anime Music for sending a copy for a review for this site. This is a domestic release. This CD is more of a J-POP CD, but most of the songs are from Anime series, like "A Little Snow Fairy Sugar" & "Ai Yori Aoshi". Yoko Ishida is one of the hottest Japanese singer, with her beautiful voice. This CD is the first of her CD release in North America. As a bonus, there is an extra track, Track 12, the English version of "Sugar Baby Love". However, it's not sung by Yoko Ishida, but it sounds like her. I find it pretty cool, though, the wording doesn't really capture the Japanese version.
Audio 2.0:
I find no problem listening to the music. The tracks are well separated. However, I think there is an error in the last track. Yes, the bonus track. There seem to be an extrea 3 seconds & there is an annoying click or a beginning of a song for a second before the CD ends.
Packaging:
Well, like I mention before, it's a J-POP CD, there isn't a hint of Anime on the package. On the cover, you get to see the beautiful Yoko Ishida. In the back, another picture of her. Very nice setting. The insert have 16 pages in total. There is more pictures of Yoko Ishida. I think she is near the dock. It have all the lyrics of all the songs, both the original Japanese & the translation in English. It also have the lyrics for the US version of "Sugar Baby Love". The CD case is a clear one, matching the CD cover, as well as the CD disc. The CD disc itself is another variation of the CD cover. Very well done.
Overall CD Rating:
It will be a good addition for J-POP fans. If you're a fan of the Anime series "Ai Yori Aoshi", I think you sould get this CD. I enjoy her music very much & it's worth taking a look.
