Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Entertainment for sending a copy for a review for this site. We're back & this is the final volume of this cute series. Things are getting really serious & things have turn towards Mariel. Finally, Taro try his best to ask Mariel out on a date & he is just too shy to do so. But the other maids find out what he is trying to do & Mariel found out, so to give hima break, she ask him out for a date. It's nice to see them together, alone, but things went down as something hidden with Mariel made her collapse into a coma. Worried that Taro is the one that cause it, he does his best to cope & stay by her side. However, Konoe & Grace discovered the hidden secret of Mariel, but to protect Taro from the shock, it was deem top secret. Later, a group attacked the mansion, sent by Taro's grandfather to retrieve Mariel. As Taro tried to stop them, the other maids are unable to help, as the previous family head orders overrides Taro's own. Kanoe is force to tell Taro Mariel's secret. The finally battle to rescue Mariel is on the way with loyal maids, including Kanoe. Guns, swords fights & still a few more laughing fun are still there! Not to mention the naughty parts are still there! I do enjoy a happy ending. The music that Mariel's plays on the piano is really sweet to listen.

Video:
Geneon Entertainment did a very great job, again. I found no problem, the image are clear & the color looks perfect. There is some watermarks done for the introduction & ending credits (they are translated in English). Since all the episodes are on one single track on the DVD, there is no loading time or changing tracks when you move on to the next episode. Each episode is split into 5 parts: introduction, part A, part B, ending & the preview for the next episode! I do note that you can skip the warnings & logos in the beginning using the "Menu" button on your remote.

Dubbing: English:
The English dubbing is well done. The dialogue even includes Japanese terms, like "chan" or "sama". It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 2.0:
No problem found.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
No problem found.

Subtitle:
Geneon Entertainment have selected a great font, easy to read. They use green for the introduction & ending themes, white for any text subtitling & yellow for the dialogues. One track is for the sign subtitling & the other one is for the Japanese dialogue. I might note that every odd numbered episodes, the intro & ending subtitles are in English, while the even numbered episodes are in Japanese original text.

Menu Option:
The menu is pretty simple, keeping the same design to the very end. This time, you get to see Mariel, the one you see & when she is younger, with flower petals flying in the background. There is the "Play All", "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". The background music is the introduction music. However, it's only for the main menu, there is no music playing in the other screen section.

DVD Extras:
Well, on the last volume, the only extra is the non-credit special ending that you see on the last episode.

Packaging:
Keep the same design, it's still quite colorful. There, you see Taro & Mariel together. In the back, the episodes are listed with screenshots from each of them. The only thing is a bother is the description, the font is still really small to read. The insert is really special, featuring an original artwork of the cover image. There is the chapter list, along the other volumes releases, well, the other two volumes. On the disc itself, it's the same as the cover. Since the DVD case is a clear, you get to see the reversible cover, which you will see Taro & Merial, which is the same image used for what is on the DVD disc itself.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The episodes are place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the beginning to the lend with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
Taro & Merial makes a very cute couple, hoenstly speaking. Well, this is the final volume for this episode & I find it quite fun to watch with one last laugh at the end. However, the last few episodes are intense with sword battles to gun! It's still a happy ending, but somehow, I feel that there will be more of this series sooner or later.
