Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Entertainment for sending a copy for a review for this site. After leaving off with Claire capturing the Celestial from the underground, Daisuke & J is off to find & rescue the Celestial before the system that give life to the city will died out. Exploding battles at they go all out to save both the Celestial & their city. Because of that incident, Claire isn't so happy, so he decided to hire mercenaries to destroy J & capture Daisuke to pay him back. Guess who comes to the rescue? The end is really cute, how often does an angel comes down to rescue. A surprise visitor came to the city, a girl called Princess, who comes from somewhere far away, that doesn't want to live with technology. In a way, you can understand her why she hate all form of it, that we can't live in peace. She is here in the city to find her grandfather, seeking out for revenge, going against the tradition. Now, as things progress, Daisuke's brother is got shot by a sniper. Not only that, Claire got his own problems within his family, as he is being kicked out & taken over by another family member. Boy, that is a big surprise. Note that on EPS 14 is the second half of the series & you will get a new ending theme.

Geneon Entertainment did a very great job. I found no problem, the image are clear & the color looks perfect. To top things off, the series is feature on Widescreen format. If you got a Widescreen TV, you're going to enjoy this even more. Each episodes are separated into 6 parts: the prologue, the introduction, part A, part B, ending & the preview for the next episode! Since all the episodes are on one single track on the DVD, there is no loading time or changing tracks when you move on to the next episode. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control. Again, when you load the DVD, you will hear Claire actually reads the FBI warning out to you & check out the new logo of "Geneon"!
Dubbing: English:
The English dubbing is well done. It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Subtitle:
Geneon Entertainment have selected a great font, very easy to read. They use green for the introduction & ending themes, the rest is yellow & white for Japanese signs & text. There are two tracks of subtitling. One track is for the sign subtitling & the other one is for the Japanese dialogue. I might note that every odd numbered episodes, the intro & ending subtitles are in English, while the even numbered episodes are in Japanese original text on this volume.
Menu Option:
The menu remains the same like the other volumes. It's also in widescreen format, but if got just a regular full screen TV, it will display in that format with no problem. It's very simple & clean. It's the same as the first volume, the menu design is using Android J scaning system, but if you look closely, you can see some screens from the episodes in this volume. There is the "Play", "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". Selecting any options will make Android J interface to process the command, which is really cool. The background music is one of the music you will hear during the series.
DVD Extras:
For some reason, it's not mention on the DVD packaging itself, but it does have one extra feature on this DVD. You will get a non-credit version of the second ending, which appears in EPS 14.
Packaging:
Using the same style, the package is really cool, metallic hologram type packaging. It's almost you're collecting trading cards. On the cover, you get to see Boma without his human hologram face on, ready for battle. In the back, you get to see J in mechanical form riding the awesome bike, along with three screenshots. Though, it would be nice that they note that this DVD do have extras. There is also a typo, "Clair" is missing an "e". The insert have a list of the episodes, as well as more screenshots for each of them. Inside the insert, there is a mini-poster, it's the same image as the cover. Since the DVD case is a clear one, you can see a picture behind the cover, this time, original artwork of Claire in a red background. On the DVD disc itself, it's the same image as the cover, but in black & red.
PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. There is just one thing that bugs me, you have to click on the little square to select in the menu, not the word! All the episodes is place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the first episode to the last episode with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.
Overall DVD Rating:
Well, things is getting more serious now, as Daisuke's brother got shot. You do see a shadow, a clue who might be the sniper. It will leave you breathless. Why? Well, let's see what happen next!
