Introduction:
Original created & produced by Satoru Akahori (Maze TV / SORCERER HUNTERS TV / SABER MARIONETTE J), Director Hiroshi Negi (BURN UP W / TENCHI MUYO UNIVERSE TV), Original Character Designs by Takehiko Ito (OUTLAW STAR), & Mechanical Designs by Rei Nakahara (BLUE SEED / NADESICO)!

Yuni's been kidnapped!

As the Beasts race to rescue her, S.P. Icegal is quickly closing in on Gaia's location, while V-Darn & V-Sion are closing in on them both! When all their paths cross, you just know there's going to be trouble. Who will be the ultimate victor in this colossal, three way battle for the treasure of Gaia?

Meanwhile, there's trouble brewing in the Humans' ranks. Czar Master's control over S.P. Icegal seems to be weakening. Locked inside her memories are the answers to everything - including her own identity. When the truth is revealed, the last battle begins; but could winning mean the ultimate sacrifice for one of our heroes?

It's a hilarious, all-out, mad dash for the treasure in the final volume of K.O. Beast!

Contains Episodes:
  • Episode 06: A Three-Way Struggle?! Go After Yuni!
  • Episode 07: I'll (Probably) Win In The End! Uh, Are You Sure?

Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to Right Stuf International for sending a copy for a review for this site. This is the last volume of this "Power Rangers" robots with characters that turns into animals series. These last two episodes continued on with the same funny humor that you see throughout the rest of the series, but this have a little more in-depth & explaination on what happen to the Earth, why the humans & the beasts are at war, as well the the treasure that we heard about.

Video:
Right Stuf International has work on it really well. This Anime is pretty old, but the animation is still pretty good. Clear & smooth, there is a little static here & there, but that's about it. There is only little annoying is the "Dolby Digital" logo at the beginning if you selected to "Play All" mode. Usually, this logo is shown during the being when you load the disc. Anyways, since the episodes are all on different tracks, it will have a little loading time whrn you move on to the next episode. By the way, you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.

Dubbing: English:
I find the dubbing really well done. It kept the same style as before. It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 2.0:
The English track isn't the default on this DVD. You still have to switch it if you want to watch it in English. Other then that, found no problem.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
The Japanese track is the default track.

Subtitle:
There are two tracks of subtitling. One track is for the sign subtitling & the other one is for the Japanese dialogue. The font is easy to read. All the subtitling are in yellow, the color white is use for Japanese sign & texts.

Menu Option:
The menu remains the same as the other volumes. You got the "Play All", "Episodes" selection, "Extras" & the "Set Up". All the clips you see in the main menu are from the opening of the series, but the the music in the background is from the original opening that you can see in the first volume. Simple & easy to use interface.

DVD Extras:
Like for all the other volumes, it's the same set of extras. It still got the dubbing outtakes, which is funny to watch. Make sure you watch the episodes first before watching the outtakes to get the full effect. The rest are character bios, translation notes, an animated art gallery & the original opening for both of the episodes seen on this volume.

Packaging:
The package is pretty simple. On the cover, you get to see Wan, Bud & Mei-Mer, as well as Yuni. In the back, you see Bud, with 3 screenshots on the top. The insert is the same as the DVD cover. The DVD disc itself is the same picture as the back of the DVD.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The episodes are on different tracks on the DVD, so it will take a small time to load when you move on to the next episode. Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
Watch the conclusion of this strange series & get a few more laughs!

Feature Presentation: Cute, silly, mecha & animal fun!
Video (Images) The "Dolby Digital" logo is out of it place.
Dubbing: English Dubbing is good, almost similar to the Japanese version.
Audio 01: English 2.0 No problem found!
Audio 02: Japanese 2.0 The Japanese track is on default.
Subtitle: English Subtitling is easy to read.
Menu Option: Lots of moving animation.
DVD Extras: I love the outtakes.
Packaging: Colorful, wish they work on a better insert.
PC Viewing: Easy to view, clean, no problem!
Overall DVD Rating: It's the last two episodes!
