Introduction:
Summertime Stress!

The gang winds up on an island. Sounds like a fun vacation, right? Well, it would be, except that the island happens to be haunted!

Naru has become possessed by the spirit that haunts the island. And the spirit is out for vengeance. And guess who's the target? Keitaro!

Meanwhile, Naru, still mad at Keitaro hangs out with Seta at the summer festival. And when a prank backfires, Kaolla, Sarah & Kitsune wind up stranded on another island!

Another of Kaolla's relatives visits. This time, it's her brother & he's come to take her home. But does she wanna go? Noooo...

Then, deep in the dark recesses of the Hinata Apartments, a mechanical doll is discovered. The doll has memories & thianks that Keita is his grandfather, the one who was taking care of her over 50 years ago!

Contains Episodes:
  • Episode 17: Mesmerized by Naru on the Haunted Island! Something's Fishy!
  • Episode 18: Girls Dressed in Yukata for the Summer Festival: Let's!
  • Episode 19: Marry into Money? A Prince from Across the Sea: Warm
  • Episode 20: A Sepia-colored Promise with a Sleeping Girl: A Trick?

  • Feature Presentation:
After the little incident during the play, everyone started to work at the Hinata Seaside Teahouse. However, Motoko's friends started to noticed that Motoko isn't being herself lately. Keitaro's friends try to help to get Naru & Keitaro together, but will it work? Then, everyone is at the festival, it's really cool. Back at the Hinata Apartments, Keitaro is acting really nice to everyone for some unknown reason & Kaolla transform into adult form, again. The last episode is really the best. It's about how important to keep a promise, no matter what!

    Video:
Since it's totally CGI, the image is very very clear. I find no problem at all. It's sharp & the colors are so bright. Bandai Entertainment have really done a good job releasing it! Again, skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc by hitting "menu" on your remote. All the episodes are divided in 4 parts, introduction, part one, part two & ending.

    Audio 01: English 2.0:
The English track is now almost the same as the Japanese track. No more volume adjustments! Though, it's about 80% of the original Japanese. As always, dubbing is still great.

    Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
The Japanese track volume is now the same as the English track.

    Subtitle:
Same format, there are 2 tracks for subtitling, one is only for the subtitle of items that is shown in Japanese symbol, the other one is the actually subtitle for the Japanese audio track, as well as the items. The English subtitle is translated good. The colors remains the same.

    Menu Option:
Like Volume 04, they added a curtain going upward when you enter the menu. Again, it's just a picture of the Hinata Apartment in the background. The other side, in a heart, there are 3 screenshots above, below, to select your options. There is the play all, language setting, the extra & select your scene from what episode, which is numbered 17 to 20. The main theme plays in the background & there is more animation then usual.

    DVD Extras:
I don't know why, there is only the "Character Photo Gallery", profiling for Kaolla Su, with screenshots, nothing else. No bonus clip, nothing. I wonder why. The rest are trailers for other Anime & the credit list of the DVD.

    Packaging:
Nothing much, the same style is used. This volume shows Keitaro & Kaolla. In the back, cute pictures, some screenshots. Plus, the DVD case is a clear one, so when you open it up, you can actually see behind the cover, which adds to the presentation, this time, a photo album of Kaolla time at the Hinata Apartments. The DVD disc cover itself is the same as the cover.

    PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The movie is place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small, you can zip through all the episodes in one shot. Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

    Overall DVD Rating:
With no clue about Keitaro's mystery girl on this DVD, we're going to have to wait for the next one!

Feature Presentation: Yet again, it continues to be cool! Motoko is so cute!
Video (Images) Behold the power of DVD, crisps & clear! No problem found.
Audio 01: English 2.0 Dubbing is great, almost similar to the Japanese version.
Audio 02: Japanese 2.0 The audio problem is now fixed, I think.
Subtitle: English A little bit more bolded, please!
Menu Option: If you like to hear the main theme over & over, you can!
DVD Extras: Nothing much this time.
Packaging: Very very cool DVD case! Once of the nicest I have seen.
PC Viewing: Easy to view, clean, no problem!
Overall DVD Rating: One more DVD to go to get the rest of the series!
