Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Entertainment for sending a copy for a review for this site. After an awful ending & you think it's all over, guess again. Here is one more episode for more fun & laugher. This is a special episode just for the summer break, taken place before Mahoro finally battle with Management. No idea when it'sa ctually happen as the ending didn't tell how long Mahoro has left like all the other episodes thoughout the series. Not to mention, there is a new opening, clips from the series, both the first & second season, but the introduction theme is from the second season. There is even a new ending theme, too. You get to see all the characters all over again, along with some fan service, meaning full nudity! Mahoro is on a mission to get rid of Suguru's adult magazine collection & she groups up the girls, aling with Ms. Shikijo. Fear not, Suguru ask his friends to help him out & it's boys VS girls to have the right of dirty thoughts. Slash & Minawa are in it, too. You get to know why Mahoro acts this way about dirty thoughts. You will see. I'm sure you will laugh your socks off for an all out battle & the ending will leave you shock!

Geneon Entertainment did a very great job. I found no problem, the image are clear & the color looks perfect. To top things off, the series is feature on Widescreen format. If you got a Widescreen TV, you're going to enjoy this even more. Each episodes are separated into 6 parts: the prologue, the introduction, part A, part B, ending & the epilogue! All the episodes are feature on one track, so there is no loading time when you move on to the next episode. However, if you use the auto-replay track option on your DVD player, it will not work, it will just go back to the menu. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.
Dubbing: English:
The same cast returns one last time for this special episode, keeping the same style & maintaining the laugher! However, Chizuko's voice seem to be more relax. It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Subtitle:
Geneon Entertainment have selected a great font, very easy to read. Since this is during the second seasoj of this series, the subtitle color for the introduction & ending theme remains in light blue. The rest is yellow & white for Japanese signs & text. There are two tracks of subtitling. One track is for the sign subtitling & the other one is for the Japanese dialogue. However, there are missing subtitle text for the English subtiling track, spot one so far. I might note that there is only the English translated version subtitle for the introduction & ending theme.
Menu Option:
The menu is also in widescreen format, but if you got just a regular full screen TV, it will display in that format with no problem. The menu isn't so boring anymore, but it's pretyt much simple. You see Mahoro & she can blink her eyes. There is the "Play", "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". The background music is the main theme of the second season.
DVD Extras:
There isn't much extras on it, just a non-credit opening & ending, along with an art gallery, most of them are just screenshots. The first two images in the art gallery are the same image on the DVD cover, the rest is just screenshots from the episodes. There are some original stretches, too. Also, you will get promotional video for the first & second season, along with the summer special.
Packaging:
Carrying the same style as the second season, a really colorful cover with the cute Mahoro. You can also noticed the new logo "Geneon" along side with the old "Pioneer" name. In the back, some screenshots, along what it seems to be dirty books. There is even Mahoro pointing out that's it's only for 16+. The insert is really cute, got a sexy mini-poster of Mahoro & Minawa, the chapter list & another picture with Suguru & Mahoro. On the DVD disc itself, it's the same picture used as the cover. The DVD case itself have change, no more the white one, but a clear one, where you get to see a very nice picture Minawa, Mahoro & Suguru.
PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The episodes are place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the first episode to the last episode with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.
Overall DVD Rating:
It's Mahoromatic one last time. I think this is the best there is & it kinda explains a few things why Mahoro thinks the way she is. Remember, all dirty thoughts are bad! Enjoy!
