Review Done By: Guardian Inferno

Introduction:
Cool Weapons! Hot Babes! Fast Cars!

CRI Super Agent Najica Hiragi & her partner Lila are back to save the world! The fun starts when they must race against the time to stop the madman Richard Kidel from using a nuclear intercontinetal missile to stage a coup.

Then the Humaritt version of Pandora's box is opened when a Humaritt combat model gets activated without orders or a master. The Humaritt escapes, & Najica & the CRI team have to find this android before disaster ensues. While Lida recovers from injuries, Najica must work solo to help teenage math prodigy Swaney & her Guardian Daniela from being re-captured by the repressive government of Kirnovf.

If that were not enough, the rogue Humaritt Toni takes a hostage - Azusa Katsuragi - to prevent the destruction of a stolen jet fighter, the Oboro. Najica & Lila must recover both while going up against Toni's master, the weapons dealer Rasse Pewnt! It's all in a day's work for Najica Blitz Tactics!

Contains Episodes:
  • Episode 05: The Fragile Dream with a Crimson Colored Horizon
  • Episode 06: The Beautiful Beast's Eyes with a Lonely Shadow
  • Episode 07: The Murderous Bullet Shot with a Wry Smile
  • Episode 08: The Sky of Desire with a Swirling Battle Flame

Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to ADV Films for sending a copy for a review for this site. The actions continued with our Secret Agent Najica & her new special partner Lila continues, saving the world, while flashing panties shots over & over. Yes, all the girls in this series must flash their panties. Their mission also have another goal, recovering more Humaritts like Lila. Just how many are they & why they are built? However, Lila was damaged during a mission, so you get to see Najica doing her thing solo again in one of the episodes.

Video:
ADV Films did a very great job. I found no problem, the image are clear & the color looks perfect. The episodes are on a different track, so there will be a small loading time when you move on to the next episode. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.

Dubbing: English:
The dubbing is really great. The voice for Najica suit the role she plays, professional, yet sexy. They pick the cast very well. There is one little problem, for some unknown reason, EPS 07, there is missing dialogue when Najica speaks on her phone. In the original Japanese track, there is dialogue, but the English track, nothing, like Najica is speaking to no one. It's about 80% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 5.1:
Unable to test it, since I don't have a 5.1 surround system, I can't really say much.

Audio XX: English 2.0:
Just letting you know, there isn't an English 2.0 audio track on this DVD. This is artificially made from the 5.1 audio track, that's why I noted it as "XX". I found no problem with the audio, but I bet it would be alot more interesting with the 5.1.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
No problem found.

Subtitle:
ADV Films have selected a great font, very easy to read. They use yellow for the introduction, ending themes & the Japanese dialogue & white for Japanese signs & text. There are two tracks of subtitling. One track is for the sign subtitling & the other one is for the Japanese dialogue. I might note that every odd numbered episodes, the intro & ending subtitles are in English, while the even numbered episodes are in Japanese, for you to do some karaoke!

Menu Option:
The menu remains the same, everything. The only exception is that the numbered episodes are reflecting the ones on this volume. There isn't a "Play All" feature, just a selection of one of the 4 episodes, "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". The main theme is playing in the background & the other section have different background music throughout the series.

DVD Extras:
Something is really wrong here, why is there another set of the same thing as the first volume, the non-credit opening & ending? I find it pointless having it again. It could have included the original Japanese opening & ending. You also get another audio commentary for EPS 08, which Andy McAvin (Gento) & Mike Kleinhenz (Majima). Like before, it's not really a commentary, it's just two guys having fun & they do get nasty. Though, it's funny. You also get some production sketches, related to the episodes on this volume, as some Japanese TV spots.

Packaging:
Keeping the same style, here we go again with the all whire design. You see the sexy Najica wearing a traditional Chinese dress. Oh, a panty shot! In the back, you get to see three screenshots (which is somehow, unrelated to the episodes on this volume). This time, there is a better description, unlike the first volume, there is barely anything about the episodes in the volume. However, I think there is a little too much description. Oh, there is a little typo, they spelled "Tatics", which suppose to be "Tactics". The insert is just another picture of Najica, as well the list of chapters on this DVD. On the DVD disc, it's all white. Well, as I mention before, there are lots of panties shots throughout the series, mostly white panties. So you can understand why the package is mostly white! Yes, the DVD case itself is also white.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. Since the episodes are on different tracks, it will take time to load when you move on to the next episode. Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
I say females kicks butts. Hope you won't mind all the panties shots!
