Introduction:
"This is a priority one."

Kei Kusanagi isn't your typical 15 year old high school student. He's actually an 18 year old with a rare disorder that puts him into what he calls a "standstill". When he was younger, this disorder left him in a deep coma which stunted his growth for the next three years! Mizuho Kazami isn't your typical teacher either. She's actually an alien sent by the Galaxy Federation to observe the Earth! As the sole human being with knowledge of Ms. Kazami's secret, Kei must... marry the alien?! Homework, dating & a gorgeous wife - going to school has never been quite this fun!

Contains Episodes:
  • Episode 01: Tell Me Teacher
  • Episode 02: I Can't Get Married Anymore
  • Episode 03: This Isn't Right, Teacher
  • Episode 04: Actually, I Think I Love You

Feature Presentation:
I got it because I find the story a little interesting & I heard alot about it, so I picked up a copy. I think I got my hope a little too high, but the series isn't that bad at all. It's quite enjoyable, but I guess I have to keep going, hopefully, the series will get better. Who would think that a boy, got a rare disorder, & a hot teacher, who is an alien, became husband & wife? There is some funny parts & Kei's uncle is weird. With problems like that, going to school won't be quite the same.

Video:
Bandai Entertainment really did a good job, but the animation isn't as nice as the others I have seen. Everything is sharp & clean, no problem detected. However, each episode is on a different track, so fast fowarding to another episode will take time on your DVD player. I don't know why they didn't put it on one single track. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.

Dubbing: English:
The English dubbing is so so. Some voices doesn't suit the characters at all. It's about 80% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 2.0:
No problem found.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
No problem found.

Subtitle:
Bandai Entertainment really pick a good font, easy to read & not too small. The introduction & ending theme have 2 color subitiling, the green one for the translated lyrics, the white one for the original Japanese words lyrics. The color white is also used for Japanese signs & text. The dialogue for the Japanese track is in Yellow. There are two tracks of subtitling. One track is for the sign subtitling & the other one is for the Japanese dialogue.

Menu Option:
The menu is animated, it starts off with someone writing up the lectures on the board in class. It's very simple. You see Mizuho on the left. There is the "Play All", "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". The main theme is playing in the background.

DVD Extras:
There is a collection of promotions for this series: trailers, promotional clips to even the Episode 01 (Japanese with English Subtitle). There is also an design art gallery, featuring Mizuho, Kei & Marie.

Packaging:
The DVD cover is pretty simple, you see the beautiful Mizuho sitting in a futon, with the school in the background. The cover is also reversible. I don't know, the default cover doesn't look as good as the option one. In the back cover, there is a few screenshots. Inside, the insert is a mini-poster of Mizuho. On the DVD disc, it's Mizuho, again. The only thing I really hate about that is that Bandai Entertainment started to used cheap DVD cases. I don't know why they didn't used a clear DVD case, since it has a reversible cover.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. Since the episodes are on different tracks, it will take time to load when you move on to the next episode. Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
Don't you wish you got a hot teacher for your class?
