Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to Geneon Entertainment for sending me a pre-release copy for a review for this site. This is a preview of what's going to be release, so not all information will be available until then. Finally, the last three episode of the Sailor Moon SuperS series, both English version & the original Japanese version with uncut episodes. This is the last DVD release for this series. I'm a huge Sailor Moon fan & I know the in & out of the series, but honestly, the SuperS series isn't my favorite. Sailor Moon is on a mission to save Mini-Moon from Nehelenia & get back the Golden Crystal back. Well, I do enjoy the original Japanese background music.

Video:
It's kinda sad that Geneon Entertainment didn't do a little restoration, I guess they want to keep it original as possible. I found no problem, just the images is a little fuzzy, but it is an old Anime series after all. Also, you don't get to see the original Japanese credits, it's over watermark with the English version of it. Since all the episodes are on one single track on the DVD, there is no loading time or changing tracks when you move on to the next episode. You can skip the warning & logos when you first load the DVD by pressing the menu button on your remote straight to the menu.

Dubbing: English:
Though Geneon Entertainment never did the dubbing, it's the same dubbing as you saw the series on TV, except there is more due it's an uncut version. You know that the Ebglish dubbing of Sailor Moon is kinda horrible. I still miss the original voice actress that did Sailor Moon.

Audio 01: English 2.0:
No problem found.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
The Japanese track is a little bit louder then the English track. Other then that, no problem found.

Subtitle:
Geneon Entertainment use the same font as the other volumes of Sailor Moon. They didn't change it to the new one you see on the newer release of Anime by them. There is two text for the the introduction & ending themes subtitling, white for the original Japanese text & green for the translation text. The rest is yellow. There is only one subtitle track.

Menu Option:
It's pretty simple. It's pretty cute, you get to see Princess Serena & she blinks, too. There is the "Play All", "Screen Access", "Set Up" & "Extras". The corner have the Sailor Moon SuperS logo. The background music is the karaoke version of the ending theme.

DVD Extras:
There is no extra, zero, zip, nothing!

Packaging:
I have a mix feeling on the package, In the front, you get to see Rini & Serena in Princess form, very colorful background. In the back, boy, it's not as colorful as the front anymore. You get two screenshots & pictures of the Sailor Scouts. The insert have the listing of the episodes & chapters & a mini-poster of the cover. Since it's a pre-release, there is no design on the DVD disc itself yet.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The episodes are place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the first episode to the last episode with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
I don't really like the Sailor Moon SuperS series, but if you want to see the uncut version & the final chapter of this series, check it out.
