Introduction:
At the top of the world, an ancient artifact known as NOAH'S ARK has been uncovered. Buried & forgotten since before the birth of history, it holds the potential to elevate its holder to the status of a god... or to wipe mankind from the face of the Earth in a second!

Now a desperate battle erupts across the planet as two secret organizations race to recover the lost artifact; one seeks to destroy it, the other to enslave the human race! Monstrous half-human cyborgs face off against Earth's ultimate defender's, the secret organization known as ARCAM & their elite agents, the Spriggan, in an epic duel with the future of our species as the prize!

Feature Presentation:
Special thanks to ADV Films for sending a copy for a review for this site. This movie is really cool. It's kinda strange to see a movie about Noah's Ark & turns it in into an all action movie. It's Indiana Jones, sci-fi style. There are two secret organization, one to seek to destroy the Noah's Ark, the other to enslave the human race. I do warn you, there are lots of violences in there. The music sounds really familiar to Disney "Atlantis: The Lost Empire".

Video:
ADV Films have release this movie in theaters & did a really nice release on DVD. It's a little fuzzy time to time, but I guess it's normal. To top things off, the movie is feature on Widescreen format. If you got a Widescreen TV, you're going to enjoy this even more. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.

Dubbing: English:
The dubbing is really great. They pick the cast very well. It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 5.1:
Unable to test it, since I don't have a 5.1 surround system, I can't really say much.

Audio XX: English 2.0:
Just letting you know, there isn't an English 2.0 audio track on this DVD. This is artificially made from the 5.1 audio track, that's why I noted it as "XX". I found no problem with the audio, but I bet it would be alot more interesting with the 5.1.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
No problem found.

Subtitle:
ADV Films have selected a great font, very easy to read. The color Yellow is use for all the subtitling. There is only one subtitling track for the Japanese dialogue. There isn't any translations for Japanese symboles or signs, not even the ending theme.

Menu Option:
The menu is also in widescreen format, but if got just a regular full screen TV, it will display in that format with no problem. It's pretty heavily animated, so it's gonna take a while to load the thing. It still hold the "Play", "Screen Selection", "Setup" & "Extras", in different themes that match the movie. The only thing I don't like about the menu is that it's very small & hard to read the options selected. The background music is one of the music during the movie.

DVD Extras:
There isn't much extras on it, just video productions of characters designs, vehicles & equipements, as well as key backgrounds. There is also an audio commentary from the director of the dubbing process & how it was release here in North America. It's pretty good & you get to learn more how this movie was made.

Packaging:
The package is really well done. In the front cover, you get to see all the main characters all together in a colorful deplay. In the back, just screenshots how the menu looks like, as well some images from the movie on the side. The insert is just the same picture use as the cover, including the chapters for the movie. The DVD disc itself is another same image of the cover itself.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. Though, the image is a little fuzzy & depending on your screen setting, it might be too dark at times. However, there is one thing that bugs me watching this DVD on the computer, in all the menus, you can't click on the words (like "play") to make the function work, you have to click on the little tab & only that little tab next to it. The movie is place on one single track, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the beginning to the end with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
