Introduction:
Hibiki Amawa needs a job! If he wants to avoid being shot by his landlady, Hibiki has to get a job teaching at the local high school. Unfortunately, this high school only accepts female teacher... From the creators of Hand Maid May, comes a new dramatic comedy of a man's goal to fulfill his desire to teach in conflict with a school's strict traditions & his own male image.

Contains Episodes:
  • Episode 01: Desperate First Lipstick
  • Episode 02: Forbidden Narrow Eyeliner
  • Episode 03: Selfish Blush Magic
  • Episode 04: Delicate Tear Concealer

Feature Presentation:
This is one of the ramdon Anime I just pick out. It's got a strange & unique title. Not only that, it's something that you rarely seen. Usually, you see movies that a female try to enter a male dominated work or place, dressing up as a male. This time, it's the opposite. Hibiki Amawa, a gym teacher, need to find a job, & the only position he can get is in a private school, which the principal totally thinks that male teachers aren't suited for the job. To prove her wrong, he transforms into a she, well, dressing up as a female teacher that is. The DVD did mark this on the cover: "Sometimes the best woman for the job, is a man". I like the different introduction clips for each episode. The opening theme remains the same, but you get to see a preview on what's to come during the episode. I find it really cute. I love the last episode & I think you will, too. That really touch your heart. You got to love the music! There is a warning how to safely watch the TV, done by Fuko Kuzuha.

Video:
Geneon Entertainment did a very great job. They have taken the time to do it right. I found no problem, the image are clear & the color looks perfect. Each episodes are separated into 5 parts: the introduction, part A, part B, ending & the preview for the next episode! Since all the episodes are on one single track on the DVD, there is no loading time or changing tracks when you move on to the next episode. However, if you use the auto-replay track option on your DVD player, it will not work, it will just go back to the menu. I do note that you can skip all those warnings & logos when you first load the DVD by just pressing the "Menu" button on your remote control.

Dubbing: English:
The English dubbing is well done. The dialogue even includes Japanese terms, like "chan" or "seipai". Geneon Entertainment left them so it can be as close to the Japanese dialogue. It's about 85% of the original Japanese.

Audio 01: English 2.0:
No problem found.

Audio 02: Japanese 2.0:
The Japanese track is louder then the English track. Other then that, no problem found.

Subtitle:
Geneon Entertainment have selected a great font, yellow for the Japanese dialogue, white for the Japanese signs & texts, very easy to read. However, the opening theme, ending theme & Japanese songs played in the episodes are green & italic, which is a little hard to read, since green doesn't really pop up so easily.

Menu Option:
I find it really cute. Before you enter the menu, you will get a introduction from the female of "Hibiki Amawa" (in English) on how to run the menu. Looks familiar? Yup, a green board from your classroom with a rotating logo. Though, the music is out of place. Country anyone? The music stop for a while & it goes again after a minute or so. The menu is very simple & easy to move around.

DVD Extras:
There are 3 extras. One is just a plain introduction & ending theme without all the credits. The other one is really cool. You get to meet the students in Hibiki Amawa's class. The first volume only introduced the guys first. It's only on audio, it will explain why. You can get some clips form the Manga version of this series popping in & out. I find it funny! By the way, you can see it in English & in Japanese. The last one is just a standard art gallery.

Packaging:
It's a very colorful cover, I say. You get to see the 2 main characters, Hibiki (female) & Fuko. In the back, there's the school in the background with 3 of Fuko's classmates. The DVD disc itself is just a plain green. The insert is a mini-poster, cute pictures on it, along with the episode list & translation of some Japanese terms.

PC Viewing:
Watching it on the PC is the same as watching it on the TV. Very clean, no problem at all, very little pixel (little squares popping in & out), both normal mode & full screen mode. The sound is just great. The episodes are place on one single track as you play the episodes, so loading time is really small. You can fast forward to the first episode to the last episode with one move on your mouse! Like on your regular DVD player, you can skip the warnings & logos when you load the disc, just use the "menu" option to go to the menu screen.

Overall DVD Rating:
I find it very tasteful. Though, it is nice to see that a man do have a heart & not run down by a "female only" principal! It's funny, bold, well worth it. However, you do learn something, never judge anyone without knowing the person.

Feature Presentation: Cute, funny, sweet, cross-dressing fun!
Video (Images) No problem found.
Dubbing: English Dubbing is great! Kept the Japanese terms.
Audio 01: English 2.0 No problem found.
Audio 02: Japanese 2.0 Annoying audio volume! Other then that, no problem.
Subtitle: English Green isn't great for subtitles.
Menu Option: Original, cute Hibiki's introduction.
DVD Extras: Really cool "meet the male student" extra.
Packaging: Colorful packaging, except the plain green on the DVD disc itself.
PC Viewing: Easy to view, clean, no problem!
Overall DVD Rating: Funny, bold & a cool series!
